An Experienced Crafter
Following in his father’s footsteps, George Bates took an early interest in carpentry, choosing to study carpentry and joinery at the City of Bristol College in 2002. After graduating, George opted for an apprenticeship working under the guidance and tutelage of his father.
After completion of his apprenticeship, George started working independently on larger projects such as the Cabot Circus shopping centre in Bristol, as well as constructing tree houses for Squirrel Design across the UK. In addition to this, George has notable domestic experience and is an expert in kitchen fitting, sash windows, doors, cupboards, flooring and more.
George has also has building experience with extensions, steel works, kitchen diner conversions and has recently passed the exam for the Chartered Institute Of Builders (CIOB) and is now going through his professional review to become a Member of the CIOB.
